My wife and I came here for our first wedding anniversary, and everything was absolutely fantastic. All of the food that we had was great, and our server was nice and efficient. Dish is a great place to get excellent food and have a great experience for any occasion!

My absolute favorite restaurant in the city! The food is always amazing and delicious. Great service and a lovely ambiance. The owners and friendly and welcoming, and the menu changes often. On this visit, I had the Carpaccio di Manzo, Insalata Mista, and the Fettucine di Mare allo Zafferano. The carpaccio was perfectly sliced and dressed. A must have if you like raw foods. The fettuccine and silky and delicious, although I would’ve have loved another scallop or two. Overall as always an excellent meal.

We came here for Valentine’s Day & came back today to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was so incredible & each time we come it’s such a beautiful experience with amazing memories built over conversations about the the flavors of each dish. My first time going I had a mushroom pasta that was delicious. This time we shared the jumbo shrimp, meatballs, and rigatoni. I would eat that rigatoni again and again and again. The wine selections are incredible. Our server was super attentive & sweet & even offered to take a picture of us. I can go on forever about how amazing this place is, but just go because it will be worth it every single time. Lastly, the tiramisu & cheesecake are delicate, balanced, and truly indulgent without being super sweet or too rich, just perfect. The entire dessert menu is impressive in flavors. 😍

Hands down best authentic Italian food in Pittsburgh. Intimate atmosphere, not a bad table in the place. Bar service is impeccable. The owner and staff will make you feel like family. I’ve actually made reservations for friends, and was able to make accommodations to prepay before they arrived for their meal. It’s the perfect gift for anyone you love. The grilled octopus salad is perfection. Cannot praise Dish enough.

Dish is an excellent restaurant. The owner and staff are gracious hosts. The wait staff is very knowledgeable about all the items served here - from both the kitchen and bar. The food is always beyond delicious! They can run out of the most popular things over the course of the evening. The rigatoni is a regular staple on the menu is incredible. It has imported prosciutto and pistachios and is a must try. The desserts are also very good, and I'd you are a dessert person, ask at the beginning what they have that night. Your server can tell you if they're running low and can typically put one aside for you. You really should make a reservation online in advance as this place fills up. Don't be surprised when you see the weekend can fill up and your only options are after 9pm. Have a 3pm snack - this restaurant is worth eating late. Every last bite will be yummy.

An Italian gem. Service was kind and food delicious. Pictured is Melanzane e Mozzarella di Bufala, Cavatelli con Salsiccia and Knob Creek Manhattan. Highly recommended!

A friend recommended and my husband has an eye for places like these. The Food and bar were top-tier tier as well as the service. We didn't have a table reserved (we tried but they were already booked) but they did inform us if we waited a short bit a spot at the bar would open (there were only 2 of us). They were very attentive to every guest that walked in the door. It was a small bar so I would highly suggest getting a table ahead of time. Best calamari either of us had, grilled not fried! Drinks were superb I had a mezcal cocktail and he had Appleton rum cocktail. We'll be back when we're in town again.

Reservations are recommended but we lucked out and got seating after 8 on a Tuesday. Our waiter was incredible. Attentive and friendly and had impeccable timing. We ordered a bottle of wine and it was lovely. The food ranged from ok to delicious. They serve lovely bread with oil and vinegar The ricotta toast: bland until you add salt. Ricotta needs salt and seasoning in order to sing. The carpaccio: eating it with the Parm was required, otherwise the meat was bland The mushroom pasta: yum, though I prefer my papardelle a bit wider and the dish needed a bit more moisture beyond the (generous) amount of butter used on the mushrooms Prosciutto and peas: very tasty but a bit milky for my taste, but my friends loved it We opted to skip dessert and overall thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The space is lovely and the vibe is cozy neighborhood and a rad romantic.
